Michelle McKenzie-Voigt (Sissy) With professional credits ranging from Shakespeare to camp, recent favorites include The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey (Provision), The Spitfire Grill and Cabaret (ITC), and the mother of them all, Rose in Gypsy. She is an ensemble member of both Glitterati Production and Pride Films and Plays, for whom she will be appearing as Sandra in the 20^thanniversary co-production of Beautiful Thing at Luna Central (Jan/Feb); she will also be understudying the role of Barbara in Sweet and Sad at Profiles (Aug-Oct) and appearing as Joanne in Company for BrightSide (Nov/Dec).  Heartfelt gratitude to Wayne and this creative team, Don and Chris for their love and support, and Michael for sharing the ride. 

Alison Logan (Bitsy) is thrilled to be working with Ludicrous again! (She also appeared in their second production, which was Radio TBS).  Most recently, she has worked with Hell in a Handbag Productions in Trogg! and Fresh Mint Media with The Windy City Revue/Viva la Bastille Day/The Anti-Valentine's Day Valentines Day Show. 

Some of her favorite roles include Winnifred in Once Upon a Mattress and Lucy in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown.  A graduate of Millikin University's BFA Acting Program and Chicago's Second City Conservatory, she also performs as Chicago's "Original Classy Broad" (Ms. Logan's stage persona)  Be on the look-out: she is currently developing a new cabaret show called The Rogues Gallery with Jonny Stax Presents!

Caitlin Jackson (Latrelle)

Sordid marks Caitlin's third Ludicrous production after most recently playing "Zabina, Queen of Mars" is Conquest of the Universe, When Queens Collide in May and a “Transylvestite” in Rocky Horror last Fall. Originally from Indiana, where she worked with Indiana Repertory Theatre (Juvie), Indianapolis Civic Theatre (The Crucible, The Hobbit), Edyvean Repertory (Camelot), Theatre on the Square (…and stuff…, Splendor in the Grass) and the American Cabaret Theatre (Evita), Caitlin moved to Chicago in 1997 to attend the Chicago Academy for the Performing then majored in Theatre at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

While at UIC some of her favorite roles included: “Roxanne” in The Artificial Jungle, “Viola” in Indulgence in the Louisville Harem, “Gwen” in 5th of July and “Snoopy” in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Since living in Chicago, Caitlin has performed with Dark Knight (24 Hour Playfest), Chase Park (Midsummer…), HyperWorld (Devil Inside), 20th Century Ensemble (Picasso at the Lapin Agile) and joined Totally Adequate Scone for their Rhinofest 2012 entry (World on Fire) at The Prop Thtr. J. Lance Williams (GW) is one of Ludicrous Theater’s newest members.  He holds a degree in Radio-TV-Film from the University of Texas at Austin as well as a Masters in Marketing from the University of North  Texas.

After a 15+ year career in   advertising sales and management, J. Lance decided it was time to rediscover his creativity by training at Second City, IO, and the Green Room.  He has been cast in commercials, short films, and feature films, but was most excited by his return the stage after a 20 year hiatus. 

J. Lance made his professional Chicago debut with Ludicrous Theater in 2011 and hasn’t looked back.  He could not resist the opportunity to become a member of such an interesting, quirky, entertaining, witty, informative, enriching company when given the chance.  “Presenting material that encourages the audience to see the world in a new way while entertaining them is the ultimate thrill as a performer.”

Michael Barr (Wardell) Michael is thrilled to be part of Sordid Lives! He has just completed portraying Harlan Shapley in Creation’s Birthday, but is most often found in the orchestra pit as music director for several community theatres in the southwest suburbs of Chicago.

Recent favorite shows include “The King and I” for The Orland Park Theatre Troupe and “Jesus Christ Superstar” for The Hale Park Players. Onstage, favorite roles have included Bill in “On Golden Pond” with the Beverly Theatre Guild and the Butler in “Joseph” with the Beverly Hills University Club. Special thanks to Michelle (91 to go!), and hugs to Ron all his support and encouragement.

Judi Schindler (Juanita) who makes her debut with Ludicrous Theatre Company, is a well known Chicago public relations and marketing consultant. Since launching her acting career three years ago, she has appeared in numerous plays and commercials.

Among her favorite roles are: Alumni Frenchy, The Original Grease at ATC; Grandma Joad , Grapes of Wrath at Infamous Commonwealth; Eudora Glenn, Sharpies , n.u.f.a.n. Ensemble; Claudia Garrish, Horrible, Hobo Junction Theatre, and Amanda Clifton, Risk Management, The Fine Print Theatre’s Citizens’ Play Festival. She is currently working on a one-woman performance, titled Husbands: An Owner’s Manual designed for women’s groups and events.

Suzanne Bracken (Lavonda) has been performing with Ludicrous Theatre Company since 2007. She has appeared in Rocky Horror (Magenta), Conquest of the Universe (Venus/Maddona), Equus (Hester Solomon), Sleeping with Straight Men (Jill Johnson), Hippolytus (Phaedra), and Radio TBS (Madge Husky).

Suzanne is also a collective member of Live Wire Chicago Theatre and has performed in Life is a Dream (Chamberlain), An Evening in the Rye (Officer Shirley), Much Ado About Nothing (Ursula), Hedda Gabler (Berta), Uncle Vanya (Marina) and as part of VisionFest in multiple roles.She has also been in several independent films and is credited on IMDB.com for her work.

Trent Oldham (Odell/Preacher) hails from Biloxi, Mississippi and recently moved to Chicago to purse a career in theatre.  Regional credits include Shakespeare's "The Comedy of Errors" Southern Arena Theatre, "Twelfth Night" New Stage Theatre, and received theatre and dance training from the University of Southern Mississippi and aerial arts training from the Actors Gymnasium.

This is Trent's Chicago Debut and he would like to thank the Ludicrous Theatre Company for such a warm southern welcome. Enjoy the show, y'all! =

J. Keegan Siebken (Ty) acting career began when, in the fourth grade, he joined his father on the stage as a toy soldier in Prairie Players Civic Theatre's Babes in Toyland. He continued to be active in the theatre scene through junior high and high school, and ultimately received a B.A. in Theatre from Knox College.

Notable roles while at Knox included Tartuffe (Tartuffe), Roy Cohn (Angels in America: Perestroika), and Mike (A Lie of the Mind).Keegan moved to Chicago promptly after graduation from Knox in 2007. His very first role in the city was as Rocky in The Rocky Horror Show with the Ludicrous Theatre Company. Since then, he has taken part in numerous Ludicrous productions (including Conquest of the Universe, or: When Queens Collide and Sordid Lives), and could also have been seen in productions with Passion Theatre (Bang, Bang, You're Dead) and The Chicago Folks Operetta Company (The Circus Princess).

CatherineThomson (Dr. Eve) is very excited to make her debut with Ludicrous Theatre. She was most recently seen in Spotlight Theater’s production of Edward Albee’s ALL OVER as The Mistress.  Other favorites include URINETOWN (Penny), HAIRSPRAY (Velma), BLITHE SPIRIT (Ruth) and FOOTLOOSE (Ethel).

Catherine is also a cabaret artist, performing next at Davenport’s in September. In real life Catherine is proud to stand for almost everything Dr. Eve would loathe, and is immensely grateful to Graeme for supporting her every step of the way. 

Kirk Jackson (Brother Boy) could be seen as Brad Majors The Rocky Horror Show, last fall, and then as Tamberlain in Conquest of the Universe this past April, both at Ludicrous. He had such a blast, that he had to come back for a third show with this company and boy, is he glad he did!

Before that, Kirk had the chance to appear in Animal of the Year at the Bailiwick, 1984 at the Live Bait Theater, and A Midsummer Night's Dream at Chase Park. Kirk received his BA in acting from Illinois State University, and continues to learn from each production he is in. He learns the most however, from truly unique productions such as this one!

Wayne Shaw (Director) is thrilled to be presenting this funny and heartwarming show to the Chicago area. Del Shores is one of Wayne’s favorite contemporary playwrights and has directed his works before.

Past Directing credits for Wayne include Conquest of the Universe, Rocky Horror, Sleeping with Straight Men, Equus, Corpus Christi, Math and Aftermath, and many others. Writing and Directing credits include Lilith and Hippolytus. Wayne holds a BA in Directing and Design for the University of Illinois Chicago Campus.

Sara Tauer (Costumer) originally from Indiana where she began as the Costumer for Young Actor's Theatre in Indianapolis. In her four years with Y.A. she costumed almost every Princess, Evil Queen, Elf, Dwarf, Dragon and Prince you can think of. In 1991 Sara began as Costumer for Boone County Jr. Civic's production of Wizard of Oz. In 1992 she became the Jr. Civic's Artistic Director where she directed/costumed/designed Alice in Wonderland, Little Women, Midsummer Night's Dream and East of the Sun, West of the Moon among others in her 7 year run as Artistic Director.

Sara also Directed Boone Co. Civic Theatre's Our Town and worked on costumes for Center Stage Theatre, Indianapolis Jr. Civic and Theatre On The Square. Since moving to Chicago she has worked with Chase Park Theatre as Costumer for Midsummer..., Romeo & Juliet, Hamlet and Twelfth Night. Sordid Lives marks Sara's first time working with Ludicrous Theatre as Costumer. Allons-y!

Trent Oldham (Choreographer) hails from Biloxi, Mississippi and recently moved to Chicago to purse a career in theatre. Trent received theatre and dance training from the University of Southern Mississippi and aerial arts training from the Actors Gymnasium. Trent has experience in Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Improv, Lyrical, Hip Hop and Tumbling.

Trent will be choreographing Rocky Horror this fall for the PH Theatre company.

Mitchel Reimers (Production Assistant) is an aspiring writer and music devotee. His interest in the arts grew when he moved from Oklahoma to Chicago in the summer of 2004.

Since then he has been a much appreciated helping hand for Ludicrous Theatre Company and LiveWire Chicago Theatre, offering assistance with box office, front of house, stage management, light and sound board op, set construction and acting as a voice of reason for the creative types. Mitchel is attending Truman College, working toward his degree in accounting.
